PRATETORIAN GUARD
THE ESCORT OF THE
EMPERORS
"The Praetorian Guard, in the imperial period, was an elite force assigned to protect the Emperor and Rome. In the republican period, the praetorians were a small bodyguard that protected an army commander, general or governor. Their name derives from the commander's tent, a praetorium. This small force grew in number during Rome's civil wars where each leader had a large personal guard. In the 2nd century BCE, the first emperor of Rome, appointed two Prefects to command the Praetorian Guard, who had to be experienced soldiers, belonging to the order of knights, the wealthy class that held important positions in the administration and the army."
With the same loyalty, reserve and dedication as centuries ago, today, at the service of people as important as you, escorted and protected by personnel with more than thirty years of operational experience in the police forces.
